About me
Hello. My name is Leigh. I am a Registered General Nuse who has dedicated numerous years to the field of healthcare. Throughout my journey, I have held nursing positions within the private sector in the city of London. Notably, I served as a Senior Staff Nurse at HCA’s Devonshire Street Clinic, where I honed my skills in providing exceptional patient care. Following that, I took on the role of Clinical Nurse Lead at the prestigious London Orthopaedic Clinic, further developing my expertise in the field.
Moving closer to family, I ventured westward and assumed the role of Outpatient Manager at the well know Winfield Hospital in Gloucester. My responsibilities encompassed overseeing outpatient services, ensuring streamlined operations and top-notch patient experiences.
With the onset of the global pandemic I changed course and I stepped up as a Covid vaccinator at Gloucester Royal Hospital, contributing to the collective effort to combat the virus and safeguard public health.
My foundational nursing education took place at Greys Nursing College in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. It was there that I pursued and successfully attained a Diploma in Nursing, specializing in General, Community, Midwifery, and Psychiatry disciplines. This comprehensive training equipped me with a well-rounded skill set that forms who I am today.
My dedication to upholding stringent infection control standards is unwavering and paramount across all facets of my career. I diligently implement these standards to create a safe and sanitary environment for both patients and healthcare staff.
In summation, my professional journey as a registered nurse spans numerous roles across various healthcare institutions. From London’s prominent clinics to my current contributions in the battle against Covid-19, my experiences have shaped me into a well-rounded and capable healthcare professional. My commitment to delivering excellent patient care, coupled with my robust qualifications and expertise in infection control, underscores my dedication to the field of nursing.
I am also now a fully trained, fully insured practitioner for anti-wrinkle injections, including botulinum toxin treatments. I will be using all of my experience and knowledge as a nurse and as a trained practitioner at Time For You Aesthetics.
Time For You Aesthetics is based in the Gloucestershire area and services all the local areas including Gloucestershire, Monmouthshire and Herefordshire.
